Island Difficulty Requirements Universal Difficulty Requirements Rating The higher the difficulty on which Challenge Mode is played, the Foundation takes more money, the frequency of dangerous weather is increased, and the dinosaur rating and variety requirements increase. This increases over time as the player earns a higher amount of income. In Challenge Mode, the Hammond Foundation takes a portion of the player's income.
